How much money have I made as a self-published author?

Not a lot…

• Gumroad eBook sales: $1,027.80
• Amazon paperback sales: $187.80

Total: $1,215.60

Why have I made so little?

Two key factors:

- Amazon takes a huge cut
- I didn’t make it cheap on day one

I was naive.

But still…

At least I didn’t pay for a publishing house to distribute my book.

Part of everything I do is running lean and as minimalistic as possible.

Though, thinking about it, has that come back to bite me?
